The Heart of the Reformation

500 years ago this October, shockwaves were sent throughout the church and the world as a monk named Martin Luther nailed 95 theses to a church door in Wittenberg, Germany.  Luther was hoping to start a debate in order that he might purify the church.  Little did he know he was about to change everything.  For what started that day 500 years ago has reshaped the church in radical ways.

So what was this debate all about?  What was the big deal?  What was at the heart of the reformation that Luther began?  At the heart of the reformation are 5 profound ideas: Scripture alone, Faith alone, Grace alone, Christ alone, and to God alone be the glory.

Join us this October as we consider the Heart of the Reformation and how these concepts are still shaping the hearts and lives of God’s people today.
